Every Wine Guardian cooling unit sold by Wine Guardian Dealer carries the manufacturer's Standard Warranty: 25 months on parts and 13 months on labor from the original invoice date. The optional Platinum Warranty extends labor to 25 months and covers the compressor, condenser coil and evaporator coil for 61 months. Warranty service is provided by Wine Guardian; this page explains what each plan covers, what it excludes, and how a claim works.
Standard Warranty (included with every unit)
- Parts: 25 months from the date of original invoicing, under normal use and service.
- Labor: reimbursed only for a malfunction within the first 13 months, and only with prior authorization from a Wine Guardian authorized representative.
- Remedy: repair or replacement at Wine Guardian's option.
- Shipping: Wine Guardian pays standard ground transportation both ways for mainland US, Canada and Mexico addresses; defective parts are returned prepaid within 30 days when replacements are supplied under warranty.
Platinum Warranty (optional, purchased with the unit)
- Parts: 25 months.
- Labor: reimbursed for a malfunction within 25 months, with prior authorization.
- Compressor, condenser coil and evaporator coil: 61 months from the date of original invoicing.
- Three tiers by model: Platinum 1 (TTW009 through SP25), Platinum 2 (CS050, D050, DS050, DP50, SP50, D088, DS088, DP88, SP88), Platinum 3 (D200, DS200, DP200, SP200).

What voids or limits the warranty
- The warranty is void in its entirety if the serial number on the unit or the compressor is altered, removed or defaced.
- No returns or reimbursable charges are accepted without prior authorization from Wine Guardian.
- Coverage applies under normal use and service; installation, electrical work and maintenance should follow Wine Guardian's documentation and be performed by qualified personnel familiar with local codes.
How to make a warranty claim
- Have the details ready: model, serial number, original invoice date and a description of the fault.
- Contact Wine Guardian technical support for authorization before any repair, return or labor; unauthorized work is not reimbursed.
