What Fits a Cellar Up to 1,200 Cubic Feet

• Through-the-wall: the TTW01B covers cellars up to about 600 cubic feet and the TTW02B covers cellars up to about 1,200 cubic feet, each available in Classic, Sentinel and Defender.
• Ductless split: the SS018, rated by Wine Guardian at 100 to 1,200 cubic feet.
• Wall and ceiling mount: the CS025, rated by Wine Guardian at 100 to 1,200 cubic feet.
• Cabinet cooling: the CAB018, rated by Wine Guardian at 100 to 1,200 cubic feet, for the interior of a cabinet rather than a whole room.

Where These Cubic-Foot Figures Come From

Wine Guardian publishes a cubic-foot rating for the SS018, CS025 and CAB018 directly. Wine Guardian sizes the Through-the-Wall B series by heat load rather than by a published cubic-foot rating, so the TTW figures on this page are calculated with Wine Guardian's own cooling calculator at a documented baseline: an 8-foot ceiling, no glass, R-13 walls and floor, R-29 ceiling, a 75°F warmest wall, 80°F air to the condenser and a 55°F cellar. Wine Guardian separately lists the TTW01B as the replacement for the TTW009, which it rates at 50 to 600 cubic feet, and the TTW02B as the replacement for the TTW018, which it rates at 100 to 1,200 cubic feet. Both published ranges agree with the calculator result.
