Wine Guardian Through-the-Wall Installation Video

A through-the-wall unit installs in an opening between the cellar and an adjacent climate-buffered space, with the cold side facing the wine room and the exhaust side venting into the neighboring area. TTW Installation Guide: TTW01B, TTW02B, TTW04B
This walkthrough applies to the current TTW B-series in all three trim levels (Classic, Sentinel, Defender), which share the same chassis dimensions and installation approach. The video covers:

Installing Previous-Generation TTW Units (TTW009, TTW018)
If you own an earlier TTW009 or TTW018 unit, this walkthrough shows the installation approach for that generation. When it is time to replace one of these units, the current equivalents are the TTW01B (replaces TTW009) and TTW02B (replaces TTW018) in the same wall-opening class.
Can I install a Wine Guardian through-the-wall unit myself?
Through-the-wall units are the most DIY-friendly Wine Guardian configuration because they need no ductwork or refrigerant line work. Confident homeowners commonly handle the wall opening, mounting, and sealing, while a licensed electrician or HVAC professional should confirm the electrical supply and final setup, especially in finished or load-bearing walls.
Where does a through-the-wall wine cooling unit vent to?
The exhaust side vents into the room on the other side of the cellar wall, such as a basement, garage, or utility room. That space needs enough volume and airflow to absorb the rejected heat; venting into a small sealed closet typically causes the unit to run hot and lose capacity.
What should I prepare before the installer arrives?
