The Wine Guardian Evaporator Coil 53H0072-01 is the genuine replacement evaporator coil that Wine Guardian lists for the D088, DS088, DP88 and SP88 systems, where it is the cold coil that takes heat out of the air returning from the cellar.
Wine Guardian states the fitment two ways for this number. Its parts list names the four models D088, DS088, DP88 and SP88, and its product listing describes the coil as the one used in all current production 088 units. Wine Guardian lists 53H0072-01 for the D088, DS088, DP88 and SP88. Configuration does not change the part inside the 088 class, and no unit outside that class takes it.

The four are the D088 and DP88 on the ducted side and the DS088 and SP88 on the split side, and all four sit together in the large cellar band, 2,200 to 4,500 cubic feet.
The 050-class systems, which share that same cellar band, do not share this coil. They take the 53H0070-01, and the 25-class systems take the 53H0068-01. Size class decides the coil, not the cellar.

Legacy units are the usual place a number surprises somebody, because the coil that shipped in the unit may no longer be the number Wine Guardian supplies. 30-day returns, unopened
Return an unopened, uninstalled item within 30 days of delivery for a refund or store credit. Contact us first: ship nothing back until we send you an RMA number with the return instructions. A 25% restocking fee applies to returns and exchanges; there is no fee when an item arrives damaged, is defective or the wrong item was sent.
